Ma鈥檃den deploys space technology to explore projects across Arabian Shield
Australia’s Fleet Space Technologies announced Monday it has signed a contract with Saudi state-owned miner Ma鈥檃den to explore up to 12,012 sq. km of its priority projects across the Arabian Shield.
The contract expands Fleet Space鈥檚 operational presence in the Middle East following a聽memorandum of understanding signed by the parties in January.
The initiative will be delivered through the regional joint venture with Saudi-based security solutions provider Tahreez, enabling the rapid deployment of Fleet Space鈥檚 vertically integrated ExoSphere platform, including its network of low earth orbit satellites, smart ground sensors and advanced AI models.
The four-year agreement with the聽Fleet Space and聽Tahreez JV will enable high-resolution, real-time 3D subsurface imaging up to 7 km in depth to support Ma鈥檃den鈥檚 growth strategy, the company said.
Used by miners Rio Tinto, Barrick, Gold Fields and AngloGold Ashanti to deliver 3D imaging of mineral systems across five continents, the ExoSphere platform is designed to enhance data-driven exploration with near-zero environmental impact.
