Yeah, something resembles to alien saga and weyland-yutani corporation , their ” building better worlds” lema, so mythical for sci-fi…and something more, It would be necessary to take into account the possible gravitational alteration … in the movie of the time machine from 2002 a nuclear detonation deflected the moon and hit it against the earth, sometimes reality can overcome fiction, however strange it may be become … ;): P

Opening up space exploitation without international rules is a guarantee that war and death will occur in space. Nothing like greed and self interest that ruins peace and prosperity.

Is he talking about when Russia recently siezed the Crimean peninsula? Or attacked Ukraine?

Exploration, exploitation, and colonization will never happen otherwise; and it will alleviate stresses on Earth’s resources, divest mankind from one celestial body to ensure the survival of the species, and promote an incentive for technological growth. There are many more good things that would come out of it than bad. Besides, the solar and beyond is a pretty big place and there is room for boundless opportunities. Why any country would be so narrow minded as Russia’s ignorant complaint is beyond me? A country such as theirs has probably the most to gain. As I see it, put your money in human expansion into space exploration and space minerals exploitation that you otherwise would spend on wars. The wealth potential is beyond terrestrial contemplation.
