In this role, you will deal with both day-to-day and long term fleet related issues focused on improved equipment reliability and preventative maintenance programs.<br /><br /><strong>District Overview<br /><br /></strong>Kiewit Equipment Services (KES) helps to ensure the profitability of Kiewit projects through the improved equipment utilization and mechanical reliability by delivering world-class equipment and service.<br /><br /><strong>Location<br /><br /></strong>This position will be based out of <strong>Woodcliff Lake, NJ; Baltimore, MD; or Mebane, NC</strong> and typically requires 25% travel across the United States and Canada.<br /><br /><strong>Responsibilities<br /><br /></strong><ul><li> Safety is your number one responsibility</li><li> Ensure crews understand and comply with all federal, state, and company health, safety, and environmental requirements.</li><li> Long/short range equipment planning, scheduling, and budgeting.</li><li> Use reliability and failure analysis data to increase equipment availability and reliability.</li><li> Interpret parts and service manuals for proper and timely diagnosis and repairs.</li><li> Ensure accurate record keeping of daily tasks performed by maintenance team.</li><li> Train and mentor entry level positions.</li><li> Establish and maintain communications between all levels of supervision and management<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br /><br /></strong><ul><li> Undergraduate degree in Diesel/Automotive Technology, Heavy Equipment Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Construction Management.</li><li> 5+ years of equipment related experience.</li><li> SAP and Microsoft experience preferred.</li><li> Strong attention to detail and ability to focus on multiple projects at once while prioritizing tasks</li><li> Knowledge of CAD modeling programs is preferred</li><li> Lift 50lbs, access equipment including tower cranes.</li><li> Must be willing to travel and relocate as required</li><li> Strong work ethic – Willing to do what it takes to get the job done.</li><li> Strong organizational, time management and communication skills.</li><li> Willingness to work in both office and field environments</li><li> Ability to freely access all points of a construction or mining site in wide-ranging climates and environment.<br><br></li></ul>Other Requirements:<br /><br /><ul><li> Regular, reliable attendance</li><li> Work productively and meet deadlines timely</li><li> Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment</li><li> Perform work safely and effectively.
