There is no doubt Ivanhoe have not found just a deposit but a whole new copper province. However, obstructions to upgrading the rail infrastructure, particularly the nearby rail line Kolwezi via Dilolo to Angola, are removed, it’s going to be a nightmare exporting so much copper as envisaged.

For any lesser outfit this is a big gamble. But when you are partnered with the govt of China you have some stroke with DRC.
